The Way Ahead

The Way Ahead began publication in 2005 as a magazine written by and for young professionals in the upstream oil and gas industry. TWA was published three times per year. It includes articles on a range of technical topics, the business of oil and gas, and career issues. It's a publication of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

One Petro

OnePetro is an online library of technical literature for the oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) industry.  With contributions from 21 publishing partners and providing access to over 200,000 items, OnePetro.org is the definitive resource on upstream oil and gas.

Petrowiki

PetroWiki was developed by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) as a vehicle for knowledge capture and sharing. The initial content for PetroWiki was SPE’s seven-volume Petroleum Engineering Handbook (PEH), published in 2006-2007.

Energy for Me

Energy4me was developed by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) to promote an energy conscious and educated society and create interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) careers.

SPE Ementoring 

The program gives SPE members a way to contribute to the E&P industry by sharing industry insights and practical career advice with young professionals, or by helping university students with academic and career direction. Young professionals also have the unique opportunity to serve as mentors to students. It’s easy to communicate via email, Skype, LinkedIn or other social media.
