The overall difficulty level of the PE question paper was easy to moderate, and there were not many difficult questions. There were most questions from the subject and conceptual-based. GATE PE (Petroleum Engineering) 2018 exam analysis

It was comparatively much difficult ones because questions asked were not that straight forward. Difficulty level was one level up. As petroleum gate exam began in 2016, so papers of initial 2 years i.e 2016 & 2017 were very easy but 2018 paper was not as same as previous ones. It was quite difficult.
